Arriving in Germany: starting together, step by step
When a nursing professional comes to Germany from abroad, it's more than a change of job. It's a new chapter in life: a move to an unfamiliar country, a different culture, a completely new daily routine. That's exactly why our work doesn't begin at the airport, it begins months earlier. And it doesn't end once the suitcases are unpacked, either.
Before the flight: we lay the groundwork
Long before our nursing professionals hold a plane ticket in their hands, our intensive preparation phase begins. We help with recognition of their training, take care of the necessary documents, coordinate language courses, and stay in close contact with authorities, both in the country of origin and in Germany. Many people underestimate how complex the processes around visas, recognition and labour market clearance really are. For us, it's everyday work, for our candidates, a genuine challenge. That's why we're there, step by step.
The journey: welcome to Germany
Perhaps the most emotional moment: arrival day. For many of our professionals, it's their first time in Europe. We pick our nursing professionals up personally at the airport. From there, it's straight to their first home, usually a furnished flat we've already prepared: keys, bedding, WiFi, even the fridge is already stocked.
The first few days: orientation and settling in
In the first few days, we stay closely involved: registering with the residents' registration office, opening a bank account, a German SIM card, an initial orientation to the surrounding area, and being reachable at every step, by phone, in person, or via WhatsApp. We also prepare employers for cultural differences and help with integration into everyday working life.
More than placement: we stay reachable
Settling in doesn't end after a week. It takes months, sometimes years, to truly feel at home. That's why we remain a point of contact, long after the first day on the job: with regular check-ins, everyday tips, and an open ear when things get difficult.
